AN HOMAGE TO JULIA CHILD was printed
in December of 2004 to honor the great chef
and woman I grew up watching on PBS, who
perhaps even inspired me to love the art and
joy of cooking. Printed using a pegboard,
lino-
leum blocks, polymer plates, and metal type.

was printed in the Fall of 2004 on dampened
Nideggan paper using American Uncial typefaces.
The illustration is a “scratch negative,” printed
on a polymer plate.

was printed in the fall of 2004. The image was
printed in chrome yellow using the Sandragraph
technique. The text was handset in Franklin Gothic
and printed on Mohawk coverweight paper.

designed and printed with my colleague Katrin
Kapp Braun to commemorate the Bankhead
Visiting Writers Series reading by Steve Almond
and Cate Marvin at the University of Alabama on
